2017 NSW Federation of Community Language Schools (FCLS) Annual Dinner

On May 20th this year the NSWFCLS held its Annual Dinner. It was a very successful event for all community language schools. The annual celebration saw a whole host of special guests headed by the NSW Premier, the Hon. Gladys Berejiklian MP.

After last year’s success of over 500 guests, this year saw over 650 school and community representatives filled the Club Punchbowl to celebrate the spirit  of education and unity that exemplify the NSW Community Languages sector.

The highlight of the evening was Premier Berejiklian’s announcement of a $10.9m funding increase to the NSW Community Languages sector. This will go to assist the schools even more in the teaching of language and culture.
